Why Mr Dass Built a Team Instead of Going Alone

When he says he has seen every mistake a student can make in Maths, he means it — and he knows exactly how to fix each one.
Mr Divyan
Languages & Humanities Specialist
Mr Divyan is DASS's language and humanities specialist. He joined Mr Dass's team to ensure no student is held back by the subjects most schools underserve. His structured, patient approach covers Bahasa Melayu, Sejarah, and English from Primary Standard 1 all the way through SPM. He does not just teach the syllabus — he teaches students how to think clearly and write well, which pays dividends across every subject.
Ms Harpa
Science, Physics & Biology Specialist
Ms Harpa is the science powerhouse of the DASS team. She teaches Science, Physics, Biology, and IGCSE Science — and her ability to make complex concepts genuinely click is what sets her apart. Whether it is a Form 1 student encountering Science for the first time or a Form 5 student preparing for SPM Physics, Ms Harpa brings the same rigour and clarity to every class. She is a core reason why students who come to DASS for Maths end up staying for everything else.
Mr Nathan
Chemistry Specialist
Mr Nathan is DASS's Chemistry specialist. Chemistry has a reputation as one of the hardest SPM sciences, and Mr Nathan built his teaching career around changing that. His systematic, no-shortcuts approach ensures students understand the underlying chemistry — not just memorise reactions for the exam. His Saturday classes at DASS are focused, structured, and built for results.
