What is the difference between Science and Biology at Form 4?
In Form 4, students in the pure science stream take Biology as a separate subject alongside Physics and Chemistry, replacing the integrated Science subject from lower secondary. Biology covers cellular biology, ecology, genetics, and human physiology in much greater depth than integrated Science.
Is DASS Biology tuition suitable for pure science stream students?
Yes. Ms Harpa's Biology classes are designed for pure science stream students taking SPM Biology. The classes cover the full Form 4 and Form 5 Biology syllabus systematically.
How is Biology assessed in SPM?
SPM Biology consists of three papers: Paper 1 (multiple choice), Paper 2 (structured and essay questions), and Paper 3 (experimental/scientific skills). Ms Harpa covers all three paper formats, including how to structure Biology essays for maximum marks.
Does Ms Harpa also teach IGCSE Science?
Yes. Ms Harpa teaches IGCSE Science (which includes Biology components) for Year 10 and 11 students on Saturday afternoons. She also teaches Science for Form 1–5 and Physics for Form 4–5.
